Terminal Island

Last in a series based on the Rand McNally Thomas Guide Book of Maps. Terminal Island at first may appear to be lifeless but has a rich history. Before its residents were sent to internment camps during WWII, this was a thriving Japanese fishing and canning town. It was also the launching point for the Spruce Goose.
